Length-Weight Relationship and Condition Factor of Prussian Carp (Carassius gibelio, Bloch, 1782) from Asi River

This study aimed to determine the length-weight relationship and condition factor of Prussian carp (Carassius gibelio, Bloch, 1782) from Asi River. Samples were collected by 12-18 mm mesh sized fyke-nets between November December 2021. Totally 88 specimens have been Turkish part River, Hatay, Türkiye. Lengths weights ranged 10.2 29.8 cm 19.47 408.59 g, respectively. The b-values calculated as 3.08 LWR equation was estimated W = 0.0138*L3.08. Fulton’s (K) relative (Kn) values 1.76±0.03 1.01±0.01, provides valuable data on factors C. gibelio findings present paper revealed that showed an isometric growth this region is relatively suitable for species. Therefore, these will be a background further biological studies local fisheries management strategies.
